Conservation Efforts

We Put Our Money Where the Wild Is

Every bottle you open funds the conservation work that keeps the land, water, and wildlife thriving.

theoleo is a proud member of 1% for the Planet. That means 1% of every sale goes directly to conservation organizations doing real, boots-on-the-ground work. No vague promises. Just wine that pulls its weight for the wild.

We made it simple and intentional: each of our varietals is tied to a specific organization that mirrors what's on the label. The more a varietal sells, the more that organization receives at the end of the year. Your pour decides where the money goes.

1% of Every Purchase Goes To:

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon | National Forest Foundation

The bear on this label doesn’t just look the part; it’s a guardian of the range. Our Cab is paired with the National Forest Foundation, the organization working to restore and protect America’s 193 million acres of national forests. From old-growth stands to clean watersheds, this is the work that ensures our most iconic wildlife has a sanctuary to roam.

Ecosystem Focus: Forests and Mountain Habitats

Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir | Ducks Unlimited

The pheasant on this label represents a delicate balance. Birds of all kinds depend on healthy wetlands, and Ducks Unlimited has been fighting to protect and restore those vital ecosystems for over 85 years. Our Pinot Noir funds that mission, because thriving migratory corridors and healthy grasslands don’t happen by accident. It’s about preserving the natural rhythm of the land.

Ecosystem Focus: Wetlands and Grasslands

Chardonnay

Chardonnay | Trout Unlimited

The trout on this label is a litmus test for the land. Cold, clean water is a finite resource, and Trout Unlimited is on the front lines of protecting it. Our Chardonnay supports their efforts to restore the rivers, streams, and watersheds that sustain diverse aquatic life and local communities alike. If the water is healthy, the wild follows.

Ecosystem Focus: Rivers, Streams, and Cold-Water Fisheries

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc | Coastal Conservation Association

The oyster on this label is a master of its craft, and the CCA works to keep our coastal waters worthy of that work. Our Sauvignon Blanc backs their mission to protect marine ecosystems and ocean health. From restoring reefs to fighting coastal erosion, we’re investing in the future of our shores and the vibrant maritime life that calls them home.

Pour It Forward at Your Next Conservation Event

If your organization is hosting a fundraiser, banquet, or community event that supports wildlife conservation or the outdoor traditions worth protecting, we want to be part of it.

theoleo is available to support qualifying conservation-focused events that align with our mission. Whether it's a chapter banquet, a wildlife conservation gala, or a sportsmen's club fundraiser, we can donate bottles for auctions, provide wine for tastings, or work with you on something bigger. The Wine Conservation Fund

The Wine Conservation Fund is a simple, high-impact program that turns every glass or bottle of theoleo into direct funding for wildlife conservation. Restaurants, retailers, and accounts choose the local or national wildlife organization they want to support -- making every pour part of something bigger.

How It Works:

Choose Your Cause Pick a local or national wildlife organization that resonates with your customers and community.

Add a Small Upcharge Serve theoleo by the glass or bottle with a suggested upcharge of $1 per glass or $5 per bottle.

100% Goes to Conservation Every dollar of the upcharge goes directly to your chosen wildlife organization. We handle the rest.

Your wine list can do more than pair well with dinner. Let's put it to work for the wild.
